Golden Hour is a single-page web experience designed as a digital moment of calm. Built around a breathing sunset gradient with animated bokeh particles and a pulsing sun, it offers two simple interactions:
Features
- New Poem — Generates unique 3-line poems from a curated word bank. Each combination is procedurally generated and lines fade in sequentially with smooth animations.
- Vibe Chord — Selects a guitar chord (G, D, C, Em, Am, F, Dsus4, Cadd9, G7, A7), describes the mood it carries, and softly arpeggiates it through the browser’s speakers using the Web Audio API.
Design Philosophy
No ambient drone (by design), no accounts, no tracking. Just a sunset, some words, and a chord. The interface uses glass-morphism cards, warm sunset gradients, and elegant typography (Cormorant Garamond + Outfit) to create an atmosphere of intentional slowness.
